Social Responsibility
We have been actively involved in many Social Responsibility programmes over the last 10 years. Below are some examples:RIMPELSTILTSKIN - DAY CARE CENTRE
Rumpelstilskin opened in August 1995. Over 100 children aged 2-6 years are currently enrolled and cared for on weekdays. Rumpelstilskin services children from previously disadvantaged communities, and plays a valuable part in family day-care for community farm labourers. Children are supervised and stimulated the entire work-day, and receive breakfast and lunch
Vision:
That when children leave Rumpelstilskin aged 6, they will be competent academically, emotionally and spiritually strong, physically able and will be prepared for life by having respect for themselves and those around them. Exsa established a section 21 Comp to manage the funds for their social programs. Exsa Winners and will welcome any fund to help with this never ending task
HUIS MIMOSA - OLD AGE HOME
This retirement home in the Hex Valley cares for elderly people in our community. We arrange a yearly golf-day to raise funds specifically for them.
ORGAN DONOR FOUNDATION - GOLF DAY
Once a year EXSA arranges a golf-day aimed at raising funds for the Organ Donors Foundation. This incentive was spurred on by one of our own, Kosie, who was on the receiving end, and overcame enormous odds against him.
